Not only is it home to the Bears of the NFL but it also has a rich history of basketball.

If you want to listen to Chicago’s news and sports events, WGN Radio 720 is the station for you. It covers local news, sports, weather, and business. This station recently covered a fatal shooting in a suburb called Greater Grand Crossing. The station also beams local programming to distant cable providers so that you can hear Chicago news in your home.

WGN-TV+ is another Chicago news channel. It is a local channel that broadcasts breaking news, traffic, and weather events. The station also airs its own series called Backstory. In the morning, listeners can catch Chicago’s Very Own morning news. The station was founded in 1978 as a Chicago weather station and grew to become a TV superstation.
