Whether it’s the NHL, NFL, MLB or NBA, Chicago has something for everyone. This is one of only four American cities with teams in all five major professional sports. It also has a population of nearly 3 million people, a sizable number for a city of its size.

Chicago is home to the Bears, the Cubs and the White Sox. Aside from the big three, Chicago has a large population of amateur sports teams. Among them is the storied Chicago Blackhawks hockey team. They’ve won two Stanley Cups in the last 30 years.

They’ve also been in the NFL longer than a bear (some say they’ve been around since the early 1800s). They’ve racked up numerous awards and accolades, including the honor of being named the best overall franchise in the NFL for the past four years. They also have an ongoing partnership with the Chicago White Sox.

As a city, Chicago ranks as one of the best cities in the nation. It has a population of 3 million and ranks as the third largest metropolis in the United States. There is also a healthy mix of cultures in Chicago. The city has a well-deserved reputation for its multiculturalism. Some say the city is one big happy family.

The tidbit of the day is that Chicago has one of the highest concentrations of sports enthusiasts in the country. While you’re at it, you may as well check out the city’s renaissance.
