Let's take a live look now outside from Our camera in Rosemont and yeah that's Pretty much what we've been looking at Stuck in fog all day you can barely see The headlights out there in downstate There's some severe weather as well Let's bring Albert back in he's tracking It all yeah and there's a small window Of opportunity in a small part of our Area that may have to deal with some Severe weather over the next couple of Hours this is like the big perspective We have thunderstorms developing out Ahead of this front that has triggered Some tornado concerns matter of fact Tornadoes on the ground right now back Off towards the south and west of Champaign the other tornado warning just Expired that's the good news and all This activity is drifting up towards the North now this boundary just south of Chicago that's keeping the warm humid Air down to the South as it's 44 right Now in Chicago it's just too cool really To have anything meaningful in the Severe weather side it's areas down here Towards the South near 60 at Kankakee And Rensselaer and Valparaiso and Laporte this kind of area right in here That is the most unstable environment And has overall the best chance of Having a stronger severe thunderstorm Over the next couple of hours right now The two main counties Jasper Newton

County here in Northwest Indiana but Even portions of Lake County and Kankakee County in the mix for that Potential for a stronger severe Thunderstorm coming in out of the South Pretty soon here's a look at seven O'clock on the future radar showing some Scattered showers and thunderstorms for Moors to Kankakee stretching into Northwest Indiana and then this little Band of showers and storms moves into Chicago by about eight o'clock but again It's just a little too cool and stable For us to have a big severe weather risk That being said kind of like what we saw Earlier this afternoon a couple of Storms could spit out some small hail so We'll keep an eye on that and then Beyond about 9 10 o'clock a lot of this Moves out of here and we'll start to see The fog decrease as we go beyond Midnight as that same cold front that's Kicking up those severe storms downstate Will kind of sweep away both the Moisture and also the fog but between Now and probably midnight now for most Locations dense fog is some real Likelihood it's out there now Chicago And back off towards the West in Particular that's where those dense fog Advisories are in place and the brand New update just the last couple of Minutes look at this zero mod visibility Now Joliet and Morris in Ottawa and
