Chicago First Alert Weather: Gray and cloudy

CBS 2 meteorologist Robb Ellis has a look at what to expect this week.

A little bit of haze and maybe some Patchy fog across some parts of the area Not everyone not as much fog as what we Saw earlier really depends on where you Are right now it looks like areas around Northwest Indiana and Gary having some Problems with visibility but starting to See that improve a bit across much of The area and we're just dealing with Kind of gloomy conditions I know some Clouds are hanging over the area but Temperatures pretty mild average high This time of year just to keep you kind Of relevant here 33 so to see our Temperatures already at 40 we're doing Pretty good now I mentioned that that Front is going to Surge farther to the North as we get into about midnight and Maybe make it through the area by three Or four in the morning but the warmer Air comes behind that and I said that The big question is how much farther North will that air surge well we see The 60s make it across the area I do Think there are going to be some 60s now Here's what the computer models are Spitting out or at least one computer Model is spitting out notice we have Some 60s farther to the South but it may Still be 40s on the north side of the City so there there may be a 20 degree Spread across the city but I will say This anytime we get into this type of Pattern where our temperatures are

Expected to really warm up with strong Southwest winds we tend to go warmer Than what we are forecasting so I'm Going to put 55 as our high temperature For tomorrow but there could be Temperatures that are much much warmer Than that and I would not be surprised If parts of the city even up at O'Hare Make it to 60 degrees after that it's 40s and 30s some snow chances return as We look to Thursday
