Considering its rich history and recent transformation from sleepy town to sports metropolis, Chicago has a lot to brag about. It is home to many of the world’s premier sporting events, including the NFL, MLB, and the NBA. There is even a plethora of notable amateur and minor league baseball teams to choose from. It also is home to the largest concentration of sports buffs in the country. Moreover, Chicago is a cosmopolitan city that oozes sophistication. For instance, the city has been ranked in the top tier of most liveable cities in America by a major grading agency. This is complemented by the city’s low crime rate, low taxes, and thriving economy.

Aside from sports, the city is also home to the tallest building in the state and a host of prestigious cultural institutions such as the Museum of Science and Industry and the University of Illinois. This combination of factors has led to the emergence of some of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the city. One of these neighborhoods is the Loop. There is also a small but thriving business district anchored by the posh Gold Coast.
