The Chicago Bulls, however, dominated the basketball scene in the 90s. Not surprisingly, the city also has several storied sports franchises, from the minor league to the MLB to the storied Blackhawks.

Having a professional sports franchise in your city is a huge boon to a city like Chicago. For instance, the Chicago Cubs generated $600 million in revenue for Illinois last year alone. And while you’re at it, you’ll be glad to know the Chicago White Sox and Bears have been good to each other for years.
