Hagel, Lightning Strike Down Blackhawks in 3rd Period | CHGO Blackhawks LIVE Postgame

The Chicago Blackhawks scored the first goal for the third-straight game but still lost their fifth-straight Tuesday night versus the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was tied at 1 in the 3rd period when Alex Killorn delivered the killshot to give the Lightning a lead they would not relinquish. Later that period, former Blackhawk Brandon Hagel also scored to give Tampa Bay some cushion. The silver lining in the loss was Seth Jones scoring the first power play goal by a Blackhawks defenseman since May 1, 2021. Join Jay Zawaski, Greg Boysen and Mario Tirabassi as they recap the loss and and update the runaway tank standings race on the CHGO Blackhawks Live Postgame Show.

Chicago Sports Events Culture

It’s no secret that the city of Chicago is home to a plethora of professional and amateur sports teams. In fact, the city is a cosmopolitan enclave boasting over 3 million residents. The city has played host to numerous major sporting events in the past, and is home to the world’s first major league soccer team. As a result, the city is a sports fan’s paradise, with no shortage of games to play or fans to root for.

For example, the city is home to numerous amateur sports teams, including the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Although these teams are no strangers to the competition, they aren’t the only ones in town. Other notable proponents of the sport include the Windy City Hawks, the Chicago White Sox, and the Chicago Bulls, among many others. These organizations also help to fuel the state’s thriving economy.

While it’s not a formal study, it’s safe to assume that the Chicago sports scene is a fairly affluent and cosmopolitan area. In fact, the city has been ranked as one of the best sports cities in the world, and is home to the world’s largest sporting event, the Maccabi Games. Aside from sporting events, the city is a hive of cultural activity, from jazz to edgy nightlife, and the sexiest of the sexiest. With a population of over 3 million, Chicago is the ideal place to live, work, and play.

Considering that, the city’s latest sporting offering is an ideal way to take in the sights while getting a good work out in the process.
