Whether you’re a diehard Chicago Bears fan or a casual visitor to the Windy City, you will no doubt be impressed by the city’s sports culture. In fact, the city is home to several professional sports teams as well as amateur teams. From hockey to football to golf, the city is a sports lover’s paradise. In fact, sports are a boon to the city’s economy, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue annually.
For example, the Chicago Bears have an ongoing partnership with the Chicago White Sox. The Chicago Cubs are also a sports powerhouse, generating more than $600 million in revenue annually. While there’s no doubt that Chicago is one of the biggest and most diverse cities in the world, sports fans are a tight knit lot.
For instance, the Chicago Cubs have been known to provide funding for a number of athletic programs. Not to mention, they have a history of winning the Super Bowl.
