The city of Chicago boasts a robust sports events culture. Many collegiate and professional sports teams call Chicago home. In 2013, the city was deemed the “Best Sports City in America.” Its most well-known sports teams include the Chicago Bulls, perennial powerhouses in the NBA. The Chicago Blackhawks, two-time Stanley Cup winners, have also made their home in Chicago.

Chicago sports teams are fiercely loyal to their franchise and have a great home-field advantage. Though the Chicago Bears have a poor start to the season, they are still selling out Soldier Field and drawing large crowds. One recent video of Jay Cutler’s jersey being burned went viral, but the video did not seem to affect attendance. The Bears’ fans are fervent and passionate.
