Considering that the city has been dubbed the sports capital of the world, it’s no surprise that the area is littered with athletes, coaches, and fans. In fact, the city has the highest concentration of sports fans per capita of any metropolitan area in the country. That’s not to mention the plethora of sporting events to choose from. Whether it’s a major sporting event or a minor league game, Chicago has something to offer sports fans of all stripes.

The city is also home to some of the more prestigious sports organizations in the country, including the NCAA, PGA, MLB, and NASCAR. These organizations provide millions of dollars in funding for athletic programs of all stripes. In the name of the game, the Chicago Bears have partnered with the Chicago White Sox in a number of notable initiatives.

In addition to the aforementioned, the city also boasts an array of amateur sports organizations. Among them are the aforementioned aforementioned Bears, as well as the aforementioned MLB and NASCAR teams. That’s not to mention the countless minor league baseball, soccer, hockey, and sand volleyball clubs. Of course, as with any city, a plethora of shady organizations will do their best to sully the good folks of the Windy City. To be fair, most of these organizations are just as guilty as the next guy. Luckily, this is the city that has a healthy judicial system that’s free of flaming ax and can be counted on to keep those naughty jerks at bay.
