With nearly three million residents, Chicago is one of the country’s most diverse cities. Its sports scene is as diverse as its culture, and it’s home to a variety of professional and college sports teams. The city has been named one of the top 15 sports cities three times by Sporting News. Notable sports teams in Chicago include the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. Sports fans in Chicago are passionate about their teams and will do anything to support them no matter the outcome.

The Bears’ recent poor start hasn’t stopped Chicagoans from showing up at Soldier Field to watch their team play. Though the Bears have lost three of their four home games, they still sold out Soldier Field last Sunday. While Jay Cutler’s jersey was burned during a game last month, the incident did not affect the number of fans in attendance.
