Chicago has a rich history and sports events culture. Known as the Windy City, Chicago is home to several professional and amateur sports teams. It has been voted the number one sports city three times by Sporting News, and has won two Stanley Cups in recent years. The city also has many world-class athletes.

Chicago sports fans are fiercely loyal. While the Bears last won the Super Bowl in 1985, they have not been as successful recently. However, the Bulls were a major force in basketball for decades, dominated by Michael ‘Air’ Jordan. The Chicago Blackhawks have also been champions of the NHL twice, winning the Stanley Cup in 2010 and 2013.
