Almost three million people make up the city of Chicago, which is also known as a melting pot and the “city in a garden.” Sports are an integral part of Chicago life and people in the area love to play and watch them. It has been consistently ranked among the best sports cities in the world and has hosted major sporting events. Several teams have offices in the city, and there are plenty of volunteer opportunities for sports volunteers.

The city is also home to several professional teams. The NFL’s Chicago Bears and the NBA’s Chicago Bulls were both dominant in the 1990s, led by ‘Air’ Jordan. The Chicago Blackhawks are another notable team, with two Stanley Cups. Chicago is a sports-mad city, with several professional and amateur teams, as well as professional sports organizations.
