Whether you’re a Chicago native or a sports fan from another galaxy, the windy city is a great place to spend an afternoon. The city is also home to many museums, including the Museum of Science and Industry, the Chicago History Museum and the Field Museum. Unlike in the past, it’s not hard to find a museum that’s open late, and there are plenty of free museums in the heart of the city. You’ll even find several museums that offer their own special programs, including a kids program and a slew of senior citizen programs. The perks of living in the Windy City include access to some of the city’s best neighborhoods and a plethora of upscale restaurants and clubs, not to mention all the free stuff.
