Since 2012, it has also been included in the TSE’s global ranking of sport cities. The city is the home of the first Heisman Trophy winner, Jay Berwanger.

Chicago sports teams have a rich history, and Chicago fans are passionate and devoted. While the Chicago Bears haven’t won the Super Bowl in nearly 30 years, they remain a strong cultural and economic force. The city is home to several professional sports teams, including the NBA’s Chicago Bulls, which dominated the NBA in the 1990s under Michael ‘Air’ Jordan. The Blackhawks, of course, have won two Stanley Cups in recent years.
