The city of Chicago, Illinois, is home to nearly three million people and is one of the largest in the United States. It is a multicultural melting pot, a “city in a garden,” and a top sports destination. It has been named the best sports city in the country three times by Sporting News. In addition, the city has made the TSE’s International Ranking of Sport Cities every year since 2012. This city has produced many professional athletes and organizations, and it is home to the first Heisman Trophy recipient, Jay Berwanger.
Although the Chicago Bears are having a horrible season, fans still go out in droves to see them play. They have not won in four games, and a video of Jay Cutler’s jersey burning just a week before the game went viral didn’t seem to affect attendance. Despite the negative press surrounding the team, the game is always sold out and the fans are fiercely loyal to their team.
