Listed as the third largest city in the United States, Chicago is home to nearly 3 million people. The city’s culture is characterized by diversity, but sports are also a big part of the city’s identity. The city has been dubbed “America’s Sports Capital” three times, and has made it onto TSE’s international rankings of sport cities every year since 2012. The city is home to some of the world’s best athletes, including the first Heisman Trophy winner, Jay Berwanger.
Though the Chicago Bears haven’t been their best this season, their fans are incredibly loyal. Even if the team is 0-6 on the season, Soldier Field is always sold out. Even a video of Jay Cutler’s jersey burning went viral a week before the game, but this didn’t seem to affect attendance. The Bears’ fans are fervently loyal to their team, and they never let the team down.
