Residents love playing sports and the city has been named the “Best Sports City” three times by Sporting News. Since 2012, Chicago has been ranked among the top 15 sports cities in the world. It is also home to Jay Berwanger, the first college football player to win the Heisman Trophy. The city is a hub for many sports organizations and volunteers.

Chicago is home to several major sporting events, including the NFL’s Chicago Bears and the NBA’s Chicago Bulls. Both teams are passionate and have won numerous honors. The Chicago Bulls were dominant during the 1990s, led by ‘Air’ Jordan. The Chicago Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup twice, in 2010 and 2013.
